4 Easy steps for DigiFence installation:

1. Mount the digital scale to the fence extrusion.
2. Mount the display bracket to the fence.
3. Slide the sensor onto the digital scale, and "clip" it to display bracket.
4. Calibrate.

All hardware and instructions needed for installation are included in your kit.  The average installation time is less than 30 minutes!

DigiFence Calibration:

(Quick Method) Slide the fence until it just touches the saw blade and press zero on the display's keypad.

(Best Method) Slide the fence until it is about 3 inches from the saw blade.  Cut a piece of scrap material.  Measure the cut material and use the plus button on the display's keypad to enter the measured value.  This method accounts for any "run-out" or variances of the saw blade and any fence deflection.

DigiFence can be recalibrated quickly if the saw's kerf is changed.  And if the saw's kerf is never changed, you only recalibrate when you replace the batteries.  Also, the calibration can be "locked" so your calibration isn't erased or changed accidentally!
