How can I place my order?

You can place your order using either of the following:

  • Online: Use our secure server's shopping cart.  You may use a MasterCard, Visa, or American Express for payment.
  • Phone: Call your order in to us at 1-800-233-0580 M-F, 8:30-4:30 EST.

How safe is my credit card and personal information when ordering from your site?

Our shopping cart uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption.  This is the internet standard for secure data transmission over the internet.  The SSL protocol protects your HTTP transmissions over the internet by adding a layer of encryption.  Information you send can be trusted to arrive privately and unaltered to our server.  Nearly all modern browsers support SSL.  You can tell if your browser is using SSL by the "HTTPS" in the address line, and by the padlock symbol at the bottom of the browser window.  We NEVER sell, distribute, or make your information available unless requested by you.


Are the shipping and insurance costs shown in your cart EXACT?

No. Our shopping cart calculates charges based upon a product's weight only.  In some cases - such as DigiFence or Digi-Stop - there may be surcharge for an oversize or dimensional weight fee. Shipments to residential addresses are sometimes subject to a surcharge when shipping via UPS.


How will my order be shipped?

We offer UPS Ground (to residential and commercial addresses), 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air, UPS Express, and UPS Expedited.  UPS requires that we ship to a street address; no PO boxes.  We also offer USPS for shipping.  Note that USPS shipments are NOT always traceable; you assume liability for the package once it has shipped.

Some products are shipped in two packages (each package might arrive separately).

Any product that is longer than 108" when packaged may require a different carrier to be used.  If you want us to use a particular carrier, please type the shipper's name in the Special Instructions box on the final checkout page.


What if I entered my address incorrectly?

If you enter your shipping address incorrectly, please call us immediately at 1-828-654-7920 to have it corrected.


How long will it take to get my order?

We make every effort to ship your order within two business days after the order is placed, but this is not always possible.

All orders ship from North Carolina - orders to the west coast can take 7 business days via UPS Ground (see: delivery zones chart).

In the event that your order will be delayed from shipping for more than 10 days, you will be notified by telephone or email.

When planning your shipment, remember that the time in transit begins on the day the product is shipped.  If you require delivery on a certain day, type in your requirements during checkout under "Special Instructions".


What is the return policy?

The following return policies are strictly enforced:
  • Product must be unused.
  • Product must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • No credit/refund will be issued if ANY parts are missing.
  • A 15% restocking will be assessed if product is no longer in saleable condition (scuff marks, bent pieces, etc.)
  • Shipping and Insurance fees will not be refunded.
  • Products must be safely packed for return.  Items received without adequate packaging will not be accepted by our receiving department.
  • A RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO RETURNING ANY PRODUCTS.  Our receiving department will refuse your shipment if the RMA number is not clearly visible on the outside of the package.


What is your privacy policy?

You can visit Accurate Technology, Inc. web-sites to read product information, use the on-line tools, etc. without revealing any personal information. The only information we collect and store during normal web site usage is your IP address, the web-site that referred you to us, and the pages you request along with the date and time of those requests. We use this information to generate statistics and measure site activity to improve the usefulness of our services. During normal web-site usage we do not collect or store personally identifiable information such as name, e-mail address, phone number, mailing address, or any other information.

Personally identifiable information is ONLY collected when a purchase is made and that information is submitted by the individual making the purchase. It is retained for customer service purposes to verify you as an Accurate Technology, Inc. customer and for tracking of information. This information will NEVER be made available or distributed to other companies or agencies for any reason.

Personally identifiable information you send to us by e-mail, mail, or submit by phone will only be used to determine how to respond to that particular request which the information is submitted for.
